What are the best cities to find jobs in British Columbia?

We've been thinking of moving there on and off for a while now. The mountain calls us like none other! Word on the streets is, B.C. is a very expensive place to live... So, we would like to find a relatively cheap city to live in, but where are all the jobs? I know, we're in a recession and it really shouldn't matter, but I have a photography background and am currently studying holistic health, so, where would be the best place for me to find a temporary (1-3 years only) job for something like that, and live a decent life at a decent price?

2. The Greater Vancouver area is big area. Best bet is to check out a map. Here are some of the cities in the area: 1. Vancouver 2. Richmond 3. Burnaby 3. Coquitlam 4. New Westminster 5. Delta 6. White Rock 7. Surrey 8. Langley 9. Pitt Meadows 10. Maple Ridge and further off Mission, Abbotsford and Chilliwack. If you want to live near Vancouver consider one of the options in the top 10 list as you can easily commute from them. I would also recommend finding a place near the 'sky train' as it makes getting around so much easier. The prices in the greater Vancouver are similar to any large city. Vancouver/Richmond being the most expensive. If you cross the river you tend to get slightly better prices. The nice thing about living in the Greater Vancouver area is that you have several cities available to you for jobs.
