- Book a space. Without that you cannot start your business.
- I once worked with a call center in Cheyenne, WY. (Population about 50K) They said it was easier to find good help there, due to the military base and few other options for employment. Turnover was extremely low. The first step is always a well-crafted business plan. Who will your customers be, who will your employees be. What services will you offer. What types of equipment do you need. What type of training program will you need. How will you fund the business for the first few years. What kind of marketing will you do. With that plan, you can begin to line up financing, legal services for incorporation, office space, staff, equipment, etc. The biggest constraint for a call center is technical. Can the phone service you choose handle the volume and anticipated growth, and what are the costs for what types of lines you need. Talk to them about what you need as you write your business plan. There are Call Center trade publications you can consult.
