What are the best states to live in right now, considering the bad economy?

I wonder which states are doing better than others. I know California (where I live) is in big trouble!

1. actually they say los angeles is one of the best cities to be in right now.. but as far as states go .. idk
2. Anywhere the cost of living is low.

5. i don't know exactly but i heard somewhere in the mid west. mississippi or Tennessee somewhere along that line.
6. Everyone seem the same at the moment but i think in both good and bad economic condition attention and help goes best to people who live in State of Emergency.
7. Any state where the governors have been responsible and balanced the budget. I live here in California too and I'm not surprised why were in such big trouble, for the last 10 yrs California has added 48 new state workers every single day. How the hell did they think they could afford the wages, health care etc... Anywhere there is a responsible Governor who has the budget under control.
8. According to an article I read yesterday every state is feeling the pinch on their wallets. So I would say no state currently is the best state to live in right now. Just get back to work, pay off credit cards, and make purchases.
9. Wyoming. It has such few people thus needing less government funding and its own minerals and resources. Pa(my home state) is in big trouble also, esp philly, where i'll be headed back to for the summer.
