Hypothetically speaking, what would be the best place to live if you wanted to survive during a pole-shift?
I'm just curious to know what the most life-supporting place to live would be if the poles shifted and the place was not within 300 miles of any coastlines and nowhere near any of the earth's tectonic plates so just put in your best answers and thanks!

- probly somewhere equally positioned between the two poles, but...on a relatively large continent, so probably somewhere in the middle of africa along the equator. consult a globe or atlas to get a better sense of which countries those might include.
- away from coast lines and rivers. Pole shift would cause earthquakes and those earthquakes will cause massive tidal waves, so the best place to be is high elevations like Denver. avoid the 'middle' of the US since the the Mississippi can widen and split the country significantly. I would think most of Indiana would be fine, but those great lakes scare me.
- This theory that they reverse themselves on a cycle has yet to even be proven. Even if it was im pretty sure it wouldnt be life threatning.
- depends on which directions and how quickly a hypothetical pole shift would... well... shift to. the poles are always drifting anyway. but generally speaking... even in-land locations could become flooded and mountains could shift. it's really a big "who knows" since there's not a whole lot of physical evidence as to what happens during and after a catastrophic pole shift. i would think, maybe central australia? find the place with the oldest rocks without evidence of being under water or in a volcano for past few million years and you can likely assume you won't die instantly there.
