Florida residents - Which big city in Florida is the best for employment and safest to live in?

1. Fort Lauderdale ( Broward County) There is no such thing as a safe place to live, there are crazy people everywhere.
2. I'd choose Tallahassee. Big college town, so employment is probably competitive. But it's on a little higher ground, such as anything can be higher in Florida, and less prone to hurricane troubles like having to evalucate as we who live on the coast so often have to do.
