Are there any cities in California?

Are there any cities in California that only require 3 years of English, or 30 credits for English for high school? Are there any cities in California that only require 3 years of English, and only requires 215 or 220 credits to graduate from high school? Thanks. Thanks, but I meant "what" cities? I know 3 years is the minimum years for English, but what cities or school districts approve them. Like in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego, these cities require you to take 4 years of English. But "what cities" require "3 years" of English?

  1. Graduation requirements are not made by the cities, but by the state. Here are the requirements for graduation, which are different than what colleges require: CA Dept of Education Graduation Requirements: http://www.cde.ca.gov/ci/gs/hs/hsgrtable.asp It appears that you can graduate with 3 years of English (approved courses). ========= Ask the school district about alternative, continuation and independent school programs. They can have differing graduation requirements. Also, if you're trying to graduate this year and you don't have enough English, you might check adult school or community college.
