- Well, the best place to live and do your studying would be in Kyoto. It is a city with a long history and an outstanding academic reputation. If you want class and higher education, then Kyoto is the place to be!
- well it depends...... tokyo is proboly what the others would answer.... kyoto if your more on japanese traditional culture .... but for me i think the best place is in Okinawa (quite expensive though) the wether is tropical but the water is nice and cold.
- If you don't have a lot of money, the best place to live is far from the big cities. Way down south or way up north. Kagoshima is great! Cost of living is not that high so that will save you money. Kagoshima university is also a good school with many foreign students.
- Hi, I'm in the same case as u I'm a student from Algeria and I'll go to study in Japan next year inchallah, where u from
- If you are not rich, you should avoid Tokyo absolutely! I recommend you to be in the East of Osaka (Higashi-Osaka, Ikoma or Kashihara-Jingu). You are close to Nara, Osaka and Kyoto and, at the same time, not far from nature and historical spots (Asuka, Yoshino, etc...). Moreover, the price is quite low: you can have a decent appartment for 50.000 yens per month.
- Nagoya or Yokohama a lot to do and it's cheap besides there's more to Japan than just Tokyo! ;)
