- San Diego, Ventura, or Santa Barbara if money is no object.
- Laguna Beach. Malibu. Venice Beach.
- If money is no object, perhaps you should contact some real estate agency that deals with coastal properties. they will go over all the available condos/apartments/housing in your desired area, unless you want me to give you my geography knowledge in the areas that appeals to me, but way out of my current budget.
- Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach or Hermosa Beach are great places to live in Los Angeles. They are safe.
- I'd Say most of North County in San Diego, if you have a family, or enough money to buy a house by the beach. It is going to be very pricey.
- If money is no object, any place in South Orange County is nice and it's safe, plus the education system is awesome.
- Irvine, Ca great schools nice communities close to the beach (depending where in the city) closest is about 5-8 minutes (laguna, newport, corona del mar) fun nearby activities Ranked #4 Best Place to Live in the U.S. http://money.cnn.com/magazines/moneymag/bplive/2008/snapshots/PL0636770.html
- Best places for kids are Manhattan Beach (MB) and Palos Verdes (PV). If you are more chill and like to be able to walk to shops and restaurants then you should live in MB. If you like great views horses and a lot of families then PV is the place.
