best places to live

What are the top 10 places to live in Dallas?

Like great town, great people, great school system.. I tried to convince my parents to move to Highland Park but my mom says the houses are not worth the price and there's like snotty people there. Lol, so much for that. So I need other places because I dont want to move to some small town.. I live in a town where my class has like nearly 800 people. Thanks for the info about Frisco, but it really has to be in Dallas, or near Terrell, Texas cause thats where my dad's job is

  1. Yeah, Highland Park is snobville. Frisco is really the best place to be (just outside of Dallas). it has excellent shopping, the people are friendly (most of them) and the schools are top notch. Jobs are also plentiful.
  2. Highland Park Greenway Lakewood Prestonwood Preston Hollow Victory PArk area Uptown TurtleCreek North Dallas(sorta preston hollow off meadow lane) White Rock Lake area
  3. West Village in Dallas looks like a lot of fun. Alternatively, Plano is a cool place to live. The schools are good and the property is cheap. I like it there a lot.
  4. The nice areas of Dallas are all very much like Highland Park, so if your mom didn't like that she wouldn't like the other places either. You say it must be Dallas, but you want good schools. The only way you're going to get that is to go to a private school. The nicest places not in Dallas are Plano, Flower Mound, Coppell, Southlake, Frisco, Grapevine, Colleyville, Allen, and McKinney.
  5. Sunnyvale may be a smaller town, but the town is sandwiched between two huge towns on the North and South. Not to mention, you'll be so close to Dallas. It won't really be like living in a small town at all. I know you're upset about moving to such a small town with so few students, but it really is the best place to live on that side of Dallas. The town is growing so the school will be growing also. New students will be added every year. This is the second time you've asked this question so maybe you could tell us what you like about the place you live now, besides the number of students? Just post a "wish list" so to speak of what you want in the area where you will be living. This will help us give you better information about the surrounding area. Right now, the only thing we have to go on is that you want a larger school with good academics. We're ready to help in anyway we can, but we need more specific information about what you want.
  6. Richardson, Texas Garland, Texas Plano, Texas Carrollton, Texas Irving, Texas Farmers Branch, Texas Mesquite, Texas To name a few. = = = = = = = = = = = =
  7. Honestly, I would try to convince my dad to get another job in another city. But, as for another place, I am not sure. And, compared to my school that is a small class...
