what are some exciting places in Colorado Springs?

We are thinking of going to Colorado Springs this weekend and want some places to go to. We already thought of Cripple Creek, Royal gorge and Buckskin Joe.

1. I went last October and checked out the Garden of The Gods (free) and it has wonderful scenery and a big gift shop and walking trails. Old town Colorado has some small shops. Also, Manitou Springs is a great shopping area and has a really good place to eat, Adams Cafe. We also checked out the Cheyenne Mountainside zoo. You can feed giraffes and even pet them! It was really cool along with the view from the side of the mountain over Colorado Springs! I really loved it and am looking forward to going back really soon! Enjoy!
