Question for people who play 1 vs. 100 on xbox live?

I do not fully understand the point of the game. What do you win, etc. How do you win, can u get 1st 2nd 3rd place. I only played for a few questions till my connection got screwed up so I didnt have time to read the rules, etc. Please I would like to know prizes, etc.
