is there any big cities in the United States that has pretty decent people that has good public transportation?

i live in Los Angeles n raised in Philly. Is there a city that has a big city feel with decent people anda good transit sysytem? i was lookin at oklahoma city but the bus service isnt that good. i dont drive so i need bus n tain service that runs pretty regularly untill at least 10pm mon-sat.
