1. I would say that it depends on the type of city that you choose. Most big cities in the u.s. have some sense of crime, and the Canadian cities are always cold as ice in winter. My choice of both are Wichita, Ks. And Atlanta Ga. in the U.S. and Vancouver B.C. in Canada.
