Where are the best places in Northern California to visit for a road trip?

Me and my friends are planning a road trip! It has to be interesting for 18 and 19 year olds.

2. Mt Shasta and Shasta lake. Sequoia National Park and Yosemite National Park. Yep, thats about it.
3. The National Park thing is a great idea! Especially since you only have to be 18 to reserve a campsite. You can also visit Lassen Volcanic National Park which is just southeast from Shasta Lake and Shasta National Forest. My sisters and I camped on Manzanita Lake where we hiked, canoed and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
