Why is Kentucky Bluegrass not found in places like Colorado and other west US states?
I know that precipitation amounts is one reason. Are there any others? If so what?

- Maybe the type of soil
- Bluegrass generally has to have neutral soil and it will not survive in hot or dry weather. When it gets too dry it just goes dormant. Some type of Basque is better for most northern states.
