Where are the best places to live in halifax?

Hope to be moving soon and would love some feedback as to where people thinks the best places are to live and why?

2. The main stereotypical "bad" parts of town are Cole Harbour and Spryfield, but not everyone would agree. Bedford is a good area - it's where a lot of middle-class "professionals" live and a very low crime rate. Clayton Park is closer and is also a good area, especially for apartments, very culturally diverse if that's your cup of tea. I think your best bet is to find something with a 1 yr (or less) lease and get to know the city for yourself and what appeals to you. Every region of Halifax has its ups and downs - the North End has a big concentration of University students, so you might want to avoid living in that area.
