What are best places to rent in Fremont, California short term?

Hi, I have just received new job offer in Fremont, California earning $95,000/year. I will have to get apartment from online before seeing since I will be starting in 2 weeks. I want to rent short term, so I can learn of area and then purchase home. Where is a good area? Thanks.

1. You want to stick with far north, either Niles or Arlington. Or far east, Mission San Jose. Fremont is all broken up into neighborhoods (used to be small towns), so finding out what neighborhood will not be hard.
