Besides New York, Chicago and LA, what are the best cities with a big job market/industry for graphic design and illustration?

1. I can't tell you which is best, but I can certainly tell you to stay away from South Texas.
2. Definitely Washington, D.C. and the surrounding metropolitan area. Lots of jobs available here for graphic design, photography, web design, etc. Very competitive.
