what are the best, cheap cities to live in in the U.S. ?

i want to move somewhere pretty that is on the ocean or at least a large body of water, and that is cheap. I live in Boston right now and i hate it here and i want to move somewhere cheaper that is still a fun place.

2. St. Louis have a high crime rate, so i think you will love Houston, Texas
3. try the Rio Grande Valley in Texas.. 40 mins. to Mexico very cheap.
4. Actually the cheapest taxed is Anchorage, Alaska - lil too cold for me.........
5. ejw, Just about anywhere north of California on the west coast would be much less expensive. The catch is that it is also harder to make money. If you're independently wealthy or make your living online then you've got it made.
