what are the best cities to live in?

in canada...NOT ontario..(province..i know) where rent is cheap (for a single mom) and can start fresh...?

1. As I have said many times here I like Halifax NS (I don't live there). The weather can be a little strange but I liked the city and the people. I can't address how much one would pay for rent and what the job situation is like as I've only been there on business. A couple of things to remember is that it is the capital of NS and that there is a large military presence with the east coast fleet.

4. Medicine Hat or Lethbridge, Alberta are two nice cities in Alberta where the rent is not astronomical. They are both safe, pretty, family-oriented cities. All the best to you in starting over! It can be done. : )
5. Halifax! It is a beautiful coastal city with lots happening! And very friendly!
