What are the 10 best cities to live in united states?

Public Comments

  1. 1. Fort Collins, CO 2. Naperville, IL 3. Sugar Land, TX 4. Columbia/Ellicott City, MD 5. Cary, NC 6. Overland Park, KS 7. Scottsdale, AZ 8. Boise, ID 9. Fairfield, CT 10. Eden Prairie, MN (my personal favorite is #2 since I'm from around there). :)
  2. I don't know about the noted top 10 that you see in magazines, but my own personal experience (and I have lived in 15 different cities ... Ya I move a LOT). AND if you are looking for moving ideas, this is all my personal preference. 1. Fairbanks, Alaska. Sure it gets cold in the winter, but if you like the outdoors you can't beat it! 2. Denver, Colorado. LOVE IT. Plenty of activities, many street festivals and cultural events all summer long. Relatively inexpensive, and just flat out beautiful. Not too far from Vegas (We drove there several times) and a lot of sites to see.
  3. Pheonix, Arizona
  4. i only know 5 so here they are 1. las vegas 2.atlanta 3.san diego 4.new york new york 5.Pittsburgh
  5. new york ,Seattle,Chicago, too bad that's all i can came up with. good luck.
  6. I'm from #1, and it's awesome.
  7. Austin, TX (suburbs not downtown) Nashvile, TN (suburbs not downtown) ...ummmmmmmmm...I can't think of any more...sorry...
  8. Americans love lists...Every year, someone (like the magazine Money) presents some list of ten best places to live, ten cheapest places to live, ten best places to retire, and so on. The basic problem with all of these lists is that they are based not on personal experience, but usually just on "external" facts and figures--and statistics. If you ask ten different people anywhere, they'll come up with ten entirely different lists of the ten best places to...(whatever). This is because everyone has different values and needs and resources. Each state also has its ten bests of something or other. If you want to know the best places to live, work, play, retire, etc., you have to go and gain personal experience. If you like the east coast, there are many fine cities: Portland, Maine, Bath, Maine, Portsmouth, NH, Boston, MA, NYC, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Norfolk, VA, Atlanta, Miami. If you like the west coast--San Diego, LA, San Francisco, Portland, Oregon, Seattle, Spokane. If you like the middle--Oh, there are so many fine cities.
