Is Adelaide a retirement city (quiet) or is it a happening, buzzing like other cities?

I am looking at moving there..

1. i live in adelaide it is very versatile and i love it. half of it "happening" lol thats the part im in. an dthe other half is suburbia and is quiet i would strongly reccommend moving here because of the gret weather and its not over populated or under populated!
2. Adelaide is a very quiet city compared to Sydney and Melbourne. If you're looking for big name concerts and all night partying, this ain't your town. If you want a mix of nightlife, outdoorsy stuff and don't like crowded spaces - you may like it here.
3. Adelaide caters for all. It is smaller than other capitals but it still has 'happening' things going on. Many festivals and the usual clubs, bars, restaurants, cafes. Great beaches, easy parking....I suppose it doesnt maybe cater for those in their teens so well.
4. Dont listen to anyone that tells you Adelaide is BUZZING,,lol... I have lived here all my life and Adelaide is great if you like retirement, boredom and more boredom. We have a slogan here invented by the Government which says" Adelaide Alive" HUH!!! who the idiot was that made that up obviously has never been anywhere, I'm not saying its a horrible place its just boring.
