best places to live

What do you say about my post retirement plan.? Do I sound crazy, subnormal or what?

I am 60+, healthy, professional, gentle man. I have enough asstes to give me an earning of about 5000 US Dollars per month to live without any work. I have identified 10 best cities of the world in different continents. I want to move and live for one year in each of the 10 cities. That is possible only if I can find a female, local, english speaking companion in each of these cities. I dread living alone in a foreign country. I have already travelled many times in Europe, and lived in London, Paris & Rome for a year.

  1. Sorry, you're a dreamer and a scammer. Find a woman to live with for a year? I don't think you're going to make it, American women are pretty smart.
  2. I`m sure it will work fine..apart from the finding a woman in every city I quite envy you..You have plenty cash so my knowledge of most major cities is that you will have no problems finding a companion...enjoy your travels...
  3. If you dread living alone in a foreign country, why are you going ? Finding a local is really a stranger that you have just met, & you're going to trust them to live with you right off ? Maybe enroll in a school that has orientation classes and live on campus. But, again, if you have already lived in Paris & Rome and you're in dread mode . . . let's just say there are some BIG contradictions here.
  4. sounds good, although i think i`d, do it alone.maybe, find some lest traveled places in this country-i live in mayberry &it`s ahoot.
  5. You probably wouldn't have a problem finding a woman to live with in China, or any other Asian country. However, I think you might have trouble getting a visa for a year. We could only get a 60-day visa for our daughter even though China is our residence now. I have run into a few men online that are doing what you are thinking of, it isn't crazy. If it is your dream, you should at least try it. If it doesn't work out, you can always go back home.
