- California is shrinking. East Bay (SFO) and Orange County are growing.
- Los Angeles and San diego. SF is getting smaller (i belive okland is the about steady??) central coastal and sothern cali are all growing
- sacramento region and the foothills near tahoe

- Elk Grove, near Sacramento is the fastest growing city in the state. In fact the entire area is growing rather quickly.
- Victorville is growing like Crazy. According to the U.S. Census Bureau's 2000 census, the city has a total population of 64,029. The July 1, 2005 population estimate from the U.S. Census Bureau is 91,264.
