1. California is shrinking. East Bay (SFO) and Orange County are growing.
2. Los Angeles and San diego. SF is getting smaller (i belive okland is the about steady??) central coastal and sothern cali are all growing
3. sacramento region and the foothills near tahoe

5. Elk Grove, near Sacramento is the fastest growing city in the state. In fact the entire area is growing rather quickly.
6. Victorville is growing like Crazy. According to the U.S. Census Bureau's 2000 census, the city has a total population of 64,029. The July 1, 2005 population estimate from the U.S. Census Bureau is 91,264.
