- Lots of great places that are hidden away. Much like your country I would guess. It's all about good neighbors.
- whicitaw kansas. or maybe rockcreek ohio. not going to find to many cowboys in ohio unless you go way south.
- i was born in ny...so thats the best place 2 live 4 me & i moved 2 va beach and its cool
- Well LA is a good one all folks like NY but to many people and too exipensive so is LA but that is one of my choices and Azorina its hot but nice there,And Settale.
- I live in Chicago, and I love it. It a great city and if you need to get away from the city you can always go downstate Illinois. There is a suburb called Antioch it has all the cornfields and big houses and its just two hours away from the city.
- There is no one best place to live in America. The best place to live really depends on what it is that you like. Some like the big city, and some like small towns. Some like it hot and others like it freezing cold. Your hobbies and interests also make a difference as to where you would want to live. Based on your statement that you would like to live on a ranch, that limits it some, but there are still many choices. There are different types of ranches.......cattle ranch, horse ranch, agriculture ranches/farming. Even still there are difference with respect to weather. A ranch in Texas is going to be much different than a ranch in Montana. You did say "southern cowboy", so I would look towards North Carolina, Tennesee, Georgia, maybe even Kentucky. Texas is also good. It is a mix of southern and western. For hot western states, look towards Texas, Arizona, Nevada. These three states (Texas, Arizon, and Nevada) are good because they all have larger cities with strong economies such as Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, Las Vegas. You can live in the city and enjoy the rural areas on the weekend. For colder weather, consider Utah, Montana, Idaho.
- it depends on what type of person u r. if u like big crowded cities then new york, l.a, Chicago, and or Florida would be the place for you. if u like quite suburbs then Oklahoma, Arizona would be places for u. also if u like cold places then states up in the north would work but if you like hot places then states like Texas Louisiana would be best for u.
- San Francisco is good, and most europeans who move there seem to enjoy it. It's pretty small and easy to get around. The weather is probably closer to what you get in england(just not as much rain), but, it never gets really hot. In L.A. you can't live without a car, and New York can get overwhelming after a while. If you want to really get away from the larger cities, there are a couple of cool cities in New Mexico, Las Cruces, and Santa Fe. If you want more of the beach scene San Diego is nice to.
- If you want to live on a ranch away from the centers of LA and New York, then I'd seriously consider Colorado or Wyoming - very mountainous, easily overlooked, very pretty, and with lots of great towns like Denver, Cheyenne, and Colorado Springs.
