What North or South American Cities are most like European cities?

I love European cities, and I'm wondering what cities in the U.S., Canada, and perhaps South America are most like European cities. U.S. or Canadian cities I may actually move to. The South American ones I'd happily visit. So which cities have you visited or are well-versed in, that have the same atmosphere as European cities?

1. Quebec City, Canada and Buenos Aires, Argentina would be my votes.
2. buenos aires, or pretty much anywhere in argentina but why dont you just move to europe?
3. South American cities are much more alike European cities than Canadian and American cities, in terms of style, organization and architecture. People say that Buenos Aires, Argentina is the most European city outside Europe. And definetly it is. Montevideo and Santiago are quite European too.
