Does anybody know a really good free site for finding driving distances between European cities?

- Try Googling Lonely Planet. There website might if not I know there books do.
- Mappy, see link -- use the itinerary part it will tell the mileage, use options to change kilometers to miles.
- Go to www.mapquest.com and on the front page where it says directions under the start location says Europe. After you click that you just fill out the info and it will give you directions along with distance.
- Try the Michelin Route Planner site
- I would strongly recommend Via Michelin. It took the place of Shell Geo Star. It will not only give you the distance, but drive times, fuel consumption, and tolls. I used it during my 21 day drive of Europe, (Frankfurt-Prague-Brno-Krakow -Budapest-Bratislava-Vienna- Salzburg-Munich-Heidelberg) Only got lost once, because I stopped at a gas station and ended up driving back the way I came. I have to tell you the drive times were amazingly accurate, somehow they factor the long wait at some of the Eastern European borders. Enjoy your trip, I know that I did
- Mapquest
- www.mapquest.com or www.michelin.com (this one is especially good for Europe)
