What are the best cities in Europe to live in? HELP!?
Let me start by describing myself. I'm a 21 year old, single good-looking (lol), male applying to study abroad. I'm very outgoing, and i'm hoping to settle down for about 6 months (January to June) in a european city that compliments my nature. My interests lie in incredible nightlife, an abundance of culture, and beautiful women who aren't shy but yet both classy and intelligent. My main issue is deciding on WHERE TO GO.... i've been recommended several cities but haven't come to a decision. Amsterdam, Barcelona, and Stockholm, are among my top three for the moment, but still very uncertain... HELP PLEASE!! any input is greatly appreciated.

- Is English a requirement for you to communicate? Do you know any other languages? You've picked some good cities but I would say the Stockholm should be lower on your list (having been to all three). I don't mean to offend! Swedish people are some of the most beautiful people I've ever met! - but the cold in January through March might be something you want to consider if you don't like the cold. Barcelona is a hoot. Amsterdam is a smaller city, so is stockholm. It would depend if you like big city or small city. Both are fun. There are beautiful, beautiful beaches in Barcelona and the option to travel to madrid or the south of france if you get bored. Other cities that might suit you: Berlin, Prague.
- Valo gave a very good answer, about the same as I was thinking when I saw your question. Of the three Stockholm is definitely the lowest, not only because of the cold but also the cost of entertainment, night life etc. Barcelona is a great place but rather difficult to find a moderate place to rent and not as many speak English as in Stockholm or Amsterdam where the girls are more independent. Except for the weather Amsterdam is really great, "liberal" and the beaches are only a 15-20 train ride away; but the same disadvantage as Barcelona: difficult to find a (cheap) place to live. Berlin and Prague are definitely worth considering. I think if you asked this question to young Europeans the majority would say Berlin or Barcelona -- these are currently the two "hottest" cities (places to live) in Europe for the youth. And Berlin is full of low rent apartments, fantastic young art/music scene, inexpensive night life, fashion & design industry and women from all over Europe -- enough people speak English as well. Take your pick!
- I would say Berlin. It's really cheap, there's lots of culture, and the women here are definitely beautiful and intelligent.
