- Yes. But you won't take in that much as it will be so quick. I imagine you are travelling by train? lol at "Roam" below. Must be an American ...
- Yea. I was going to do that for my birthday, because I am going to Europe in July for my 15 birthday, but instead I am just going to stay in Roam. It was a pretty good deal. (My birthday is in June).
- yes and i wouldn't try to do more than 4 or else you just won't have time to see much. you'll find flying within europe MUCH cheaper (and faster) than bus or train, although of course you don't see the countryside when you fly, but in europe there are many budget airlines with ridiculously cheap fares so this is the way to do it (try Ryanair, Flybe, BAconnect, Easyjet etc.). have fun!!!
- If just those three - and you stick to the centres, then yes. The centre of Paris is Fairly compact, so you could do all the sights in a couple of days. You could do the same in Amsterdam in a day. Assuming of course that you don't spend time loitering in museums, queuing to go up the Eiffel Tower etc. London will take longer because of the commuting around a fairly sprawling city.
- Yes, you won't get as in depth tour of the cities, but you will still be able to hit most of the important sights. Plus Amsterdam is an interesting city, but you don't need to spend much time there, so that will leave a lot of time for the other places! I hope you have fun!
- I would suggest that you limit yourself to just 3 cities (4 max)and spent a reasonable amount of time in each, otherwise you will constantly be on the move. Also, there is a lot to see, particularly in London and Paris; you could easily spend a week in London and 3-4 days in Paris would not be unreasonable. From London take the Eurostar to Paris...because of the travel time to & from the airports / having to check in 1-2 hours in advance etc, it's quicker than flying.
- I'm sure the National Express can help u...they have europe passes on their website
- Yes, it's very possible... If it's also desirable is a matter of opinion... My advice is to take the train... Not only is it much less harmful to the environment, you also get to see more of Europe (granted, you do miss some nice views from above but they only last seconds and you need a window seat)...And you don't have all the hassle of getting to airports, the high speed railroad stations are all in the center of the cities and very easy to get to... Europe has an excellent railroad system and it's very fast and efficient... In fact, in France they just broke another speed record at 357 miles an hour (574.8 kilometers). http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11668535/ You can find out more at; Dutch railroad http://www.ns.nl (click where it says "English" at the top of the page) German Railroad http://www.bahn.de/p/view/international/englisch/international_guests.shtml Eurostar (Brussels-Paris-London) http://www.eurostar.com Thalys (Amsterdam-Brussels-Paris) http://www.thalys.com/ Elipsos (Paris-Spain, Italy and Switzerland)http://www.elipsos.com Artesia (Paris-Italy) http://www.artesia.eu/ The UK national trains in general have quite a few problems but I believe the High Speed connection between London and Paris is fine...
- Yes, but just to travel, not to discover and enjoying it... Paris 1 week minimum Antwerp 1/2 week minimum London 1 week minimum Barcelona 1/2 week minimum
- I just got back from spending 4 months in Europe, mainly traveling on the weekends. I would say if you do at least 3 days per city and do a walking tour in each you be able to do the main tourist sites if you are willing to go nonstop. I did Paris in a little under 3 full days and saw everything including Versailles but was exhausted at the end of it. If are going during tourist season you should probably add an extra day per city.
