- Probably Asheville, NC, where there are few (if any) gangs and natural disasters.
- nashville tennesee is nice
- Money magazine named Colorado springs the best city over 300,000 population in the U.s. to live in. And t also named Ft.Collins Colorado the best city with population under 300,000 in the U. s. to live in. See sites below.
- It depends on what you want. Do you like seasons or do you want things to be hot all of the time? Jobs and opportunity are another thing. I chose northern Virginia outside of DC. Seasons, opportunity and access to airports. Gangs? Only close in to the city. Yes if you pick Maryland you get all of that.
- In my opinion, roughly where I live is the best place in America. Any of the suburbs in Northeast Ohio in between Akron and Cleveland are great. -Virtually no natural disasters (Other than lots of snow). There are rare tornados, and that's it. -Access to two major cities (Akron, Cleveland). They are just less than one hour apart. This means you have all of the big city amenities (Clubs, Pro Sports, Airports, etc.) -By living outside the cities, things aren't terribly crowded day to day. Enough people live here that you have all the options (It's not the middle of nowhere) that you need, but you don't have all the traffic and whatnot of living in the urban areas. -Four seasons. The summers are hot, the winters are cold with snow, beautiful autumn, nice spring. -Colleges. Ohio has more colleges per square mile than any other state in the U.S. You have big schools (Kent State, Akron) and small schools (Baldwin-Wallace, John Carroll, Case Western Reserve, etc.) -Art/Culture/Museums. Cleveland has the most dense art/culture district outside of NYC. Cleveland's museums are excellent, including the Museum of Art which is world class. You also have the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame (Cleveland) and the Pro Football Hall of Fame (Canton) and the Inventors Hall of Fame (Akron) less than an hour away. -Schools inside the city have had a rough time, but because we're talking about living 15-20 minutes outside the city, there are tremendous private and public schools available. Not sure what else you would be interested in, but I think Northeast Ohio is one of the great places in America to live.
- I've always liked to visit Seattle, WA. It's a beautiful city. Gangs are a problem everywhere now. My grandmothers in Wichita, KS and Omaha, NE talk about gang violence in those 2 tiny places.
- I like phoenix for where its at and the weather, along with its not at too much of risk for any natural disasters. Gangs there are though, you wont get rid of them unless you move to a very small town, and then there is still some gang activity.
- santa barbara, california :D I have lived in many areas in the southern california area... huntington beach and westminster, and here in santa barbara.
- I'm in Raleigh, North Carolina right now and I love it. But I think Fontana, CA is a great place to live as well
