Do any European Cities have dangerous neighborhoods like Compton, Southside of Chicago, Detroit, etc?

Are Europeans nicer than Americans? Do they not have crime over there like we do here?

1. Most western Europeans are outright jerks. Surprisingly, the most rural areas of France are actually pretty friendly, though. But, as for crime, that will be inherent in London, Birmingham, Rome, Paris, or any of the large European cities. Just the way it is.
2. No European city has a large black population so the answer is no. Every dangerous city in America has a large black population. Poverty is not to blame as West Virgina is one of the poorest states yet has the lowest crime rate and the highest percentage of whites. Sorry but those are the facts. Excluding blacks, the US violent crime rate is lower than the UK, France and Italy.
