best places to live

what are the best cities to find a job?

thanks to the person who said they need more information before they can decide which cities have the most jobs, WRONG. I am simply looking for which cities are expected to have the best overall projected job growth. I do not care about individual occupations. Why do some people have to make things so hard.

  1. NOT san francisco.
  2. i think chicago.. i dunno .. ?
  3. the DC area is booming right now. Chicago isn't too bad. Also, check some of these smaller towns that have headquarters in them
  4. Sacramento has a lot of jobs working for the state government and a cost of living that's low compared to other major California cities
  5. I'd say Phoenix, AZ. You want my newspaper? Half of it is job ads.
  6. Well, i can tell you its definately not detroit. We are competing for the bottom lol. But according to forbes.com it looks like north carolina. http://www.forbes.com/home/2007/02/15/best-cities-jobs-leadership-careers_cx_hc_0216cityjobs_slide_2.html
  7. You have to tell us more. What kind of job are you looking for? In general, Hawaii has the lowest unemployment rate in the USA - so, go West!
  8. Believe it or not Fort Lauderdale FL. I just read about 3 weeks ago that right now the job market is one of the best in the US. However pay scales can be a little better here, as pay is a little low but cost of living is really at a high point right now.
