So many cows are roaming about on the roads in big cities of India, cant you do something?
Recently when I visited India I was shocked to see so many cows roaming about in busy streets and roads in big cities. So many accidents, I witnessed few fatal, so many human lives are being lost because of these cows, beautiful expensive cars damaged to save one cow. Poor Rahri Walas' stuff eaten away in a split of a second who comes to make his living to feed his family. Sprinkling on clothes & faces and all the edible stuff stacked on the road side by the vendors look uncivilised and unhygenic hence bringing disceases, causing severe congestion and many deaths yet no body can even lash a stick to shunt them off. Is the cow so sacred that you do not care for human losses and all the mishaps to the victims and dont care for the society you live in? Dont you think it is illiteracy and has got nothing to do with religon? Can only one sensible Indian give me a logic of letting loose these stupid cows on busy roads which are meant soley for fast moving vehicles. Mahan Desh hai Tumhara!

- All the Idi0t NRIs when they go to india they lecture like this Ok tell what are your doing for this ? Or you only know how to blame and complain. India remained slave due to idi0ts like you
- haan mera desh mahan hi hai! Seems u r visiting for the first time. If u happen to live there, u will get used to it & it will no longer seem to be a problem. y do u blame the whole country? Where ppl like u r? U stay in USA & expect others to set things well for u? If u really want something... first pay ur effort, then blame others. We love our animals & thank God our vision is too clear not to bang on a huge cow when we drive. I agree to the point where they should not be led astray on the roads, but if u r a critic, then u will get stubborn answers like mine. Still mera Bharat Mahan hai !
- First of all, you mention 'logic of letting loose these stupid cows on busy roads which are meant soley for fast moving vehicles'. In India, the roads are so congested that it's nigh possible for the cars to move fast. Second of all, Indians are concerned only about their own lives - they will not stop to improve anything, even if it means herding a few cows out of danger. Third of all, India is the second most populated country in the world. I say kill a few people and control population.
- Friend, Primarily India was and is mainly an agricultural based land .It is some times called anna poorna.(The Goddess parvati in another form, who feeds all without any limit at all ) So the wealthof the kings in olden epic days was the number of cows and other animals they had.The more cows , the more wealthy they were considered.Without cows there are no bulls and no agriculture and no food. The cow was discovered to have some divine qualities and regarded among animals as the mother , it was called Go maata(Cow, the mother) In that way in India the animals cow bull etc were respected. Tmes changed . Civilisation progressed and man learnt because of scientific discoveries all implements came for agriculture.People learnt to live in buildings leaving thr rural areas. The planning was not that good when roads were considered. So they thought a single road was enough. Here the main lacuna is. Even in big cities .land cost is high. The existing roads are narrow. The can not be widened for several reasons. The same road is used for Heavy vehicles, Buses,Cars,Jeeps, tractors, bullock carts carrying anything from grass to steel rods hanging both sideds making it unable to see what is in front, the pedestrians and for animals too.The two wheelers large in number are a real threat to pedestrians like small Autos (three wheelers ).So it is the situation in the Roads here and ant one from US or UK or any developed nation visiting India will be shocked firtst after seeing the roads. Noe due importance is being given to transportation and fly overs are coming every where. We are seeing one way roads. The government is spending a lot in widening the roads and marking lanes. There are by-pas roads coming in all mah\jor towns and cities .So there is a lot of progress made and yet a lot is required to be done.it is being done.I hope soon in about 20 years we too in India will have a nice organised transportation system and neat roads. People too are learning the civic sense. It is good sign. Please bear with. You will see the great indian Roads soon.
- May cows stay in front of me; may cows stay behind me; may cows stay on both sides of me. May I always reside in the midst of cows. COWS ARE PART OF INDIA.
