Why do people in big cities complain about?

crime and traffic.................? I live in chicago and people always complain about the 2. BIG CITY life is like that..duh

1. Probably because it never gets better only a lot worse.
2. By that logic, choosing to live in a city prevents me from having a problem with being a victim of crime? Thats just silly.
3. My sister living in Chicago always complains about having to separate her trash... I just wish I had her problems. My personal beef with Chicago is all the racial and ethnic tensions, the lousy CTA,and the rather high cost of living there... Crime isn't the real issue there. I mean there aren't evildoers lurking around every corner to foul up your game, you kind of have to look for trouble to find it...
4. Because no one likes traffic and crime regardless of where you live. Even though we know it’s the nature of the beast we don’t have to like it. Besides it’s a very safe conversation you can have with anyone even strangers without offending.
