Do you think America is the best place to live?

If you are in America, is there any place you would rather live and raise your family. IF you are NOT in America, would you come here to live and rasie a family given the chance?

1. Yes. Why else would millions of people risk their lives for a chance to live here?
2. I will be moving out of the US soon. I will not tell where, but I can assure you it is better in many ways, I do not think the US has that long in its current form.

4. America is the best place to live. But the best places to raise your family is anywhere away from the big cities, but not too far.
5. I think because America allows the freedom, many people from other countries come to America and rebuild their communities in America. Kids that do to japanese school on saturday, go to all asian churches, play soccer with other latinos. I think when you a part of a strong community, it acts as a deterent to crime and destructive behavior. So you have neighbors that live next to each other for years without even meeting or going to the same church.
6. Hard to call any country the "best" to live in. I mean is the 21st century the "best decade?" Isn't it better then the 1810s? I mean who would want to live there, when there is such a limited knowledge of medicine and everyone seems to live in poverty? My point is its all about perspective. Personally, I would prefer to live in Australia. Still a 1st world country, but better climate, lower taxes, and less hoolah about being politically correct all the time. I get annoyed by things like affirmative action and not being able to say "Merry Christmas"
7. People just want peace and quiteness. People dont come here just for the money, but to live a peaceful life. A lotta countries as you open the door of your house to get out you already got someone robbing you.
8. where i live theres so many people from all over that's rude and weird i am going to try to get some where were theres only southerners again around me.i can understand them a lot better

The US has been in red alert in security because of the war in Iraq and terrorist threats. thats why more people flee to other countries. However, these countries share their own strengths and weakness so the choice is up to you.

14. Well I did before the the illegal alien invasion. The only way it would again be the best place to live again is if our Government would enforce our current immigration laws, put an end to the SPP, NAFTA, The Super Hwy, and the NAU. If thet don't I doubt if anyone will want to live here.

16. I've been around this big block we call a planet, and I can tell you that there are a lot of wonderful places to see, but no place I'd rather call home.
