Is Your Family Prepared if Catastrophic Attacks Occur in 5 Major US Cities in the Same Day?

Would you be able to get in touch with your kids, parents, spouse? Where would you go? What if US fuel supplies are cut? What if the internet is toppled? What if electricity is knocked out in 5 major US cities? We have been told that we should have some half decent plans. Has your family talked about these things?

  1. we have a plan....do you ?? Everyone should
  2. i have a plan
  3. sorry. No plan here. I am not going to live with the type of fear that people lived in during he cold war.
  4. I have mine... I also have nightmares about what it will be like. You don't know what an important question you have asked. I hope if and when I am close to you
  5. getting prepared for any eventuality is wise . but how with poor mindsets(no reference to you ,my dear, but others)! What they mean by "half decent plans"? Ask them before you apply any thinking to it.
  6. oh yeah, let's go back to the 50's and take out bomb shelter loans, it's better than the Patriot Act, start digging.
  7. We are only prepared if it happens in 4. Guess we're screwed.
  8. I'm going to Mexico
  9. Seeing how I live in a rural area, and have a solar power, access to well water, and have just finished canning, dehydrating and freezing 2 acres of vegetables and fruit,I don't think I have much to worry about.
  10. Is this another one of Chertoff's "gut feelings"? Sorry, but I've lived through one Cold War. I'm not the least bit interested in playing the fear game again.
  11. hopefully canada is san francisco one of the five major cities??? no.....we're all risk takers
  12. Yes, we do have a family plan, supplies, etc. It's something we did a few years back. We don't dwell on it or even really think about it most of the time, but the plan is there if God forbid we ever need it.
  13. This is a VERY important and significant question. You're one of the few people who truly understand what eggshells we're walking on. No, I'm not completely prepared outside of having supplies to sustain life for about two weeks. It's something I need to talk to my family about, but I'm not sure how to bring it up - considering I'm the only one who really pays attention to world events and politics. Right now, world war is a ticking time bomb and that's a fact. The threatened attacks on several US cities at the same time are very real possibilities. People can choose to ignore it, but those that do will die. October 12th is an important day, look it up. Our days may be numbered.
  14. YUP!
