What is the best place in the United States to live?

Where can you live a happy life that is in a safe neighborhood, but still live cheaply, as far as rent and such goes? Looking for somewhere south like alabama or georgia where it is warm all year long. Any opinions?

1. I live in Aleaxnder City, Alabama. It's ok I guess. It must be I have lived here my whole life! lol! Auburn is cool too, I go there all the time

3. Yeah try georgia but their is violence everywhere and you cant really feel safe no where, not even in your own home.
4. i live north of orlando, florida. i moved here from colorado one year ago. i just came out here to visit, but fell in love with it. the people here are so kicked back. the wildlife and scenery are amazing.
