  1. what ????
  2. Hawaii!
  3. if u only speak english, and if i were u, i would go to a country where english is not spoken, so that you can learn it why don u try south america contries???
  4. Island wise, Puerto Rico; the Dominican Republic; and even Jamaica.
  5. You want to consider any island or just the islands within USA territories (not states). Then you have: Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands, or Guam. Hawaii is an state, then it does not count. * I know very little of Guam, can not recommend it in one way or the other. * PR have many options that are not available in US Virgin Islands. People from there come to PR to do business, shopping and even for certain medical procedures. So I recommend PR. Edit: If considering other islands / countries, check what will be an acceptable level of live style you want. For example, Dominican Republic is pretty, but most places do not have electrical power 24 hours/day.
  6. i would definitely recomend puerto rico. other people have recommended Dominican Republic but i wouldnt im not putting them down but its mostly poverty everytime we go its more overwhelming sadness than an actual vacation. people from puerto rico that are just like middle class take trips to Dominican republic and come back grateful of what they have. Guam i was born there and my parents thought it was ok but had some horror stories about snakes coming up toilets and stuff like that so you might wanna watch out for that my family is puerto rican and everytime i go there i love it the only thing i dont like and why my parents dont live there now is because there was a lot of crime and drugs as they grew up there. the crim rate on that tiny island is about 25% higher that it is in the whole intire united states so it might not be a good place if you want to raise children there. if not you should be fine i would say there and jamiaca.
  7. Hawaii but it's very expensive...
  8. Trinidad and Tobago (english speaking)
  9. I can definitely recommend Puerto Rico I lived there for 19 years and came to the states just to study, Puerto Rico, unlike what people might think is a very advanced island, I haven't seen anything here that we don't have in the island, it is the same, low, middle, and high class, it's a great place to live. There are many good schools and job opportunities. Party life is the best ! ;) cost of living is pretty much the same also, It is a U.S. territory, so that's a plus.
  10. puerto rico would be ideal, but stay in the metropolitan areas( san juan, santurce, rio piedras and bayamon) crime is high down there so you have to be careful. jobs are not too easy to come by (locals get more preference than the state-siders) you may find some racism and prejudice against darker folks (even darker puerto rican-americans that were born in the states like myself) the eastern part of the island fiolks are more laid back and more welcoming... the virgin islands however i would not recommend. they are beautiful and dangerous lots of crime racism towards african-americans from the states white folks and puerto ricans been there for a while and now heading back with my partner 3 days maximum visit i would recommend and no jobs.
