Best places to visit in Disneyland, Florida?
Going to Disneyland Florida in a couple of weeks and I don't want to get home afterwards to have people say 'you mean you didn't see...' or 'I can't believe you didn't go on...' I would therefore like recomendations for 'must see' attractions and rides in the area.

- you HAVE to visit Universal Studios and spend a day there. It's the best. Also watch the late night fireworks show at Magic Kingdom and the other must do I'd say is one of the water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon are both excellent.
- islands of adventure
- if you're going in a coule of weeks then try to book tickets to Discovery Cove- it's pretty expensive but the experience is well worth it. You can swim with dophins, go snorkelling with tropical fish and feed stingrays. They only let 1000 people in a day so its not manic like a theme park. When you swim with the dolphins they take pictures and a video of you interacting with them for you to take home with you. You get free entry inso Sea World as well because its part of the same corporation.
- In Florida, its Disney World that you will be visiting - Disney Land is in California. Disney World is much much much larger. You cant visit everything in one time. You need to go back again and again. The best bet is to see how many days you are going there for - if only a day or two, stick to just one park and try to see everything there. If 3 or more days, then try to split it up and visit at least 1 park each day. The individual parks are: Magic Kingdom EPCOT Center MGM Studios Animal Kingdom And the water adventures are: Blizzard Beach Typhoon Lagoon Dont be so pressured to see everything at once - go and have fun with what you get to see on your first visit, and look forward to what you didnt see this time for future visits.
- Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios (they're both next to each other) are both amazing, busch gardens is great if you love the fair and seeing animals (about 1 hours drive from Kissimmee, Orlando) You should get the Orlando Flex Ticket - allows you unlimited entry to Busch Gardens, Wet n Wild, Universal Studios, Islands Of Adventure and Seaworld (definitely go here and watch the shows they're brilliant!) Magic Kingdom will be a waste if you're not with kids. My best day overall was at Discovery Cove by far! It costs £140/$270 each for the day but you get breakfast, lunch and unlimited snacks and drinks (including alcohol!!) You get to snorkel with rays, all kinds of tropical fish. Best of all, you get to play with a dolphin for an hour which is unreal! You teach them tricks, feed them and they also give you a ride through the water - once in a lifetime experience which you'll never forget!! Worth every penny as the setting is fab, has its own Beach's and its all enclosed to only 1000 people a day so it never gets packed! Its good that you're going this time of year cos the queues will be non-existent in all the parks
- We were in Florida during the Summer and didn't do a fraction of what we would have liked (in 3 weeks). In Seaworld the "Believe" Shamu show is just beautiful. The whole family enjoyed Disney's Animal Kingdom and if you like rides, then Expedition Everest is fun. In Busch Gardens, Sheikra is a new ride that is terrifyingly fantastic!! If you have a little princess and some spare cash, then I would recommend a visit to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Downtown Disney - our little girl had the full works (hair, makeup, photographs) and she enjoyed the experience, even more so when the American people made a fuss over her for the rest of the day. As one of the other answers says, don't overdo it - the first time we went out we "parked" til we dropped - this time we paced ourselves. At an additional cost we were able to make the remaining days on our Disney tickets convert to "no expiration" tickets .... I guess we'll be holidaying there again!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!
- You will be going to Disney World, not Disneyland. There is a ton of stuff to see and do. You didn't mention how long you are going or which parks you are going to. So I will give you the must-see's in each park, in my opinion: Magic Kingdom: Splash Mountain Space Mountain Big Thunder Mountain Haunted Mansion Pirates of the Caribbean Buzz Lightyear Wishes (nightly fireworks display) Spectromagic (nightime parade, lots of beautiful lights) Epcot: Test Track Mission: Space (I don't like this, personally, but lots of people love it so it's worth a try) Walking around and exploring the countries Illuminations (nighttime show, it's excellent) Disney-MGM Studios: Tower of Terror Rock n Roller Coaster Muppets 3D Star Tours Great Movie Ride Animal Kingdom: Kilimanjaro Safaris Expedition Everest Finding Nemo (Show) If you have any characters you/your kids particularly want to see, you can stop at Guest Services, near the front of each park, and ask them. They can tell you the exact times and places you can see that character. Also, be sure to get a guide each day that shows the special performances and show times that day. That will help you plan.
- It's boring the lines are unbelieveble but the water parks are awesome and animal kingdom is amazing the rest sucks and wear something short it's very hott also bring snacks it's expenzie It's kinda and is'nt fun dude

I will give you a list of our must see's in each park: Magic Kingdom - The Haunted Mansion Pirates of the Caribbean Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin Splash Mtn. Space Mtn. Thunder Mtn. Railroad Tomorrowland Speedway Monster's Inc. Laugh Factory It's a Small World Peter Pan's Flight Mickey's Philharmagic The Hall of Presidents Wishes Night time Spectacular (fireworks) Spectromagic Lighted parade Epcot - Spaceship Earth Test Track Soarin' Maelstrom (in Norway) The Tapestry of Nations (walk through the countries) American Adventure Innoventions The Land The Living Seas with Nemo and Friends Turtle Talk w/ Crush Honey I Shrunk the Audience Illuminations fireworks and Laser light show MGM - Aerosmith Rock 'N' Roller Coaster Tower of Terror Extreme Stunt Show The Great Movie ride Star Tours Indiana Jones Stunt Show Backlot Tour Fantasmic night time spectacular Animal Kingdom - Kilimanjaro Safari Maharaja's Jungle Trek Dinoland USA It's Tough to be a Bug Expedition Everest Go to the Disney website to get descriptions on each of the rides and attractions. All of them are great. There are a few more that are in each park, but these are our favorites as a family. There are also a TON of restaurants and other themed places to eat. Check out a few on the Disney website, or go to the disboards. The disboards is a message board website that has more info about going to Disney than you can possibly imagine. You can ask questions, get trip reports, dining reviews, resort reviews, descriptions and advice on the rides and attractions, tips for avoiding crowds and much more from people who go to Disney often and know what they are talking about. I put the link below. Hope this
- it the shortest but best answer GO AND SEE THEM ALL have a nice stay
- The best places probably would be Universial Studios, maybe Disney depending if there will be kids w/ you, or try MGM Studios (which is part of Disney) if you like animals go to Animal Kingdom. Do not go to Ripley's Believe It Or Not & something that ends in Kingdom (which is a hunted house) they both are over $15.00 and are the worst attractions on International Dr. Good luck & enjoy!!
- You have to do all the parks in Disney World. Magic Kingdom, MGM Studios, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. Also go to Downtown Disney it is really nice. You have to do Universal Studios, and Islands of Adventures. As for rides in Magic Kingdom you have to go on space mountain, splash mountain, pirates of the Caribbean, runway train, hunted mansion and there's a lot of other good ones but those are the main talked about. Epcot has mission to mars, test track and soring and you can travel the countries. MGM has rocking roller coaster, tower of terror, and lots of good shows. Animal Kingdom had dinosaurs, this new yeti roller coaster, and of course the animals. Universal there is a lot of good rides and Islands is the same way. Have fun
- All of the above answers !!! Plus get FASTPASS tickets on all the rides believe me some of the lines are so long you will benefit. With Fastpass you get a time to go to the ride and then you basically join in at the front of the ride and its seems most people forget this fascility and line up.
- MUST SEE/DO: (in my opinion) -- in Magic Kingdom: Space Mountain Haunted Mansion Splash Mountain Big Thunder Philhar Magic !!! must see. The night time spectacular Pirates ride -- MGM Tower of Terror Rock n Rollercoaster (it's currently closed for refurbishment but will be back mid-October) Fantasmic Beauty and the Beast show The Little Mermaid show Indiana Jones Lights, Motors and Action (they show you how car stunts are done) -- Epcot Soarin' Visit the countries, watch the show they put on and enjoy the food in the restaurants. -- Animal Kingdom Mt. Everest rollercoaster ride Jungle Trekking Kilimanjaro Jungle Tour
