  1. Romeo's Cafe 2257 Coral Way, Coral Gables, FL 33145-3508 · 305-859-2228 User Rating: 10 / 10 CORAL GABLES. Romeo Majano's forte is homestyle Northern Italian cuisine, and it's a solemn truth that he never fails to impress. After being seated in the cozy dining room, patrons are greeted in Old Country style by Chef Majano. He converses with them, gets to know their tastes and needs, and then creatively fashions a three-course lunch or six-course dinner tailored to each diner's tastes. The result is terrific, personalized food and a relationship with the chef that regulars find endearing. Prix fixe menu is $30 for lunch and $75 for dinner. Rusty Pelican 3201 Rickenbacker Cswy, Key Biscayne, FL 33149-1015 · 305-361-3818 User Rating: 8.75 / 10 KEY BISCAYNE. With panoramic views of beautiful Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline, the outdoor seating here is some of the most sought-after in town. Get into the spirit of the nautically themed dining room and order one of the seafood specialties. Shrimp scampi, soft-shelled crab, red snapper and simple seafood pastas aren't fancy, but they are fresh and delicious. Good steaks and salads, too. The fun atmosphere and spacious dining room make this a great place for a large crowd or a family. Lincoln Road Cafe 941 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139 · 305-538-8066 User Rating: 10 / 10 SOUTH BEACH. On Tony Lincoln Road, this restaurant offers authentic Cuban fare in a stylish diner-like setting. The outdoor tables, bordered by lovely plants and shrubs, offer an excellent perch for people watching. The casual atmosphere encourages relaxation, as does the efficient staff. Try the subtly spicy chicken fricassee with plantains, or the traditional arroz con pollo (chicken with rice). Most dishes come with a hearty beans and rice accompaniment that could easily be a tasty meal on its own. A great choice for a business lunch. Live music is provided in the evening. Bongo's Cuban Cafe 601 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132 · 786-777-2100 User Rating: 9.5 / 10 DOWNTOWN. For Cuban cuisine set to a pop beat, don't miss this cafe owned by singer Gloria Estefan and husband Emilio. Vivid colors, Latin beats, and plenty of bongos (of course!) get you in a festive mood, and the authentic Cuban cuisine is served with creative aplomb. Come early to enjoy a satisfying meal of roasted chicken marinated in orange and lime or the traditional Cuban strip steak. Wash it down with an exotic tropical drink, and then prepare to hit the dance floor, which starts hopping around 11pm. This is a great place to make a night of it. Reservations recommended. Las Culebrinas - Coconut Grove 2819 SW 27th Ave, Coconut Grove, FL 33133-3701 · 305-448-4090 User Rating: 9.7 / 10 COCONUT GROVE. While the dining scene at Coconut Grove doesn't lack for its share of options, it's difficult for many tourists to find a place that serves up good food but doesn't wipe out the trust fund in the process. 27th Avenue's Las Culebrinas is one of these places. Live calypso and salsa music filters through the restaurant, whose sophisticated decor bears a distinct tropical lilt. Upstairs, patrons may sit at the upscale bar and enjoy a little bi-lingual interaction with the band. Meanwhile, the smartly clad waitstaff swarms around the main dining area, bringing delightful offerings of sautéed shredded beef and onions, fried pork in avocado sauce, and rabbit in garlic sauce with deep-fried green plantains. Reservations are accepted. Havana Harry's 4612 S Le Jeune Rd, Coral Gables, FL 33146-1815 · 305-661-2622 User Rating: 8.7 / 10 CORAL GABLES. A Coral Gables favorite, Havana Harry's is often packed at lunch and dinner with happy patrons enjoying tropical cocktails and everything from palomilla steak and yucca to plantains and grilled dolphin. The atmosphere, warm and friendly, has changed little despite the fact that they've moved out of their old digs and into a newer building next door. Tables are usually hard to come by, but do yourself a favor and wait it out - your taste buds will thank you. Metro Kitchen + Bar 956 Washington Ave, Hotel Astor, Miami Beach, FL 33139 · 305-672-7217 User Rating: 8.25 / 10 SOUTH BEACH. This poolside restaurant in the elegant Hotel Astor is one of Miami's best. Known for its "Caribbean Heartland" take on New Florida Cuisine, the menu features innovative dishes that make the most of exotic local ingredients, and masterful desserts are worthy of a special trip. The sumptuous Cuarto de Chocolates (chocolate cart) includes flourless chocolate cake, an unbelievable "chocolate dome," and peanut butter chocolate bars that put ordinary chocolate bars to shame. Lighter options include warm apple and cranberry tart with cinnamon ice cream or almond bread-and-butter pudding. The skylit, cozy-chic dining room is shaped like a grand piano and is a great place to spot a celebrity - if you can take your eyes off your dessert. Reservations required. Lunch is available only to hotel guests. Daily Bread Marketplace 2400 SW 27th St, Miami, FL 33133-2236 · 305-856-5893 User Rating: 10 / 10 COCONUT GROVE. Middle Eastern restaurants are few and far between in Miami, but Daily Bread offers a delectable array of tabouli, baba ghanoush and lamb or beef kebabs, all served with generous portions of fresh pita bread. Daily specials may include lamb and cauliflower with preserved lemon, and gourmet sandwiches and salads satisfy on-the-go patrons. Quick service and wallet-friendly prices also please, and the baklava is widely regarded as some of the best in town. La Loggia 68 W Flagler St, Miami, FL 33130-1804 · 305-373-4800 User Rating: 10 / 10 DOWNTOWN. Located in the heart of downtown, this Italian gem is popular with those who do business at the main courthouse as well as those who have business there. La Loggia draws favor for its terrific, homestyle pasta dishes and its oft-packed happy hour (one of the only ones on Flagler Street). The beautiful waitstaff darts to and fro, making sure that each table is enjoying its hearty Northern Italian fare. 2. Macaluso's Alton Rd. in Miami Beach The best Italian food ever. The meatballs are to die for. Not open on Mondays and do not take reservations. Only 10-15 tables (if that) and all white linens. Waiters/waitresses are all in white shirts and ties. Fresh pasta and sauce Fresh EVERYTHING I should say :-) My family and I go to Miami at least once a year and my parents say its for vacation but I think its because we have to go to this resturant! We'll go there every night if we can. Jeeeeeeeeeez my mouth is watering just thinking about the food! I get the sauteed meatballs with spinach and garlic and it is soooooo good! If you like escarole and beans, they have it (my mom lovessssss it!) My dad gets sausage, peppers and onions with the sauce and even that looks amazing!! :-) Gotta go there...its the best
  3. the taco bell on Palm Ave. has to be the best mexican resturant in town, plus the prices are low and the service is good.
  4. Oh, please.... somebody's really bucking for points here, aren't they? lol Best restaurant, hands down, Emeril's Miami Beach (Loew's): http://www.emerils.com/restaurants/miamibeach_emerils/ Thumb through the menu. They even make their own Worchestershire sauce! The wine list is incredible... waitstaff (as in all of his properties) are well schooled in how present they should be... and how much is just enough and what's "too much." There is not one bad choice on the menu... not one. It's not cheap, but you just asked for the best... not the cheapest :) There's not one menu item, no matter how "typical" (like pecan pie or key lime pie) that doesn't have some incredibly delicious and decadent *twist* to it because, let's face it, the man can kick it up a notch! You can go in clueless and come out educated and stuffed... and never feel like you left your best friends. There's no snobbery here... and your waiter will send a sommelier to guide you and they're open to your personal preferences as well as your price range. Emeril is pals with Andrea Immer (Robinson) so he's all about giving you the taste you want with the price you need :) This (and the property at Orlando) is one of the finest dining experiences I've ever had... all the while being delicious, friendly, casual, just upscale enough, and the most delicious and approachable food on the planet. (We've all tried to upscale somewhere where they bring you a plate of something strange and small and you're not really sure even how to eat it or what you're eating, right? lol) Bam! This is the best!
  5. The Ambassador was great Its a little bit north That Greek place was fun
