3. Orlando. A rapidly growing but nice city with booming economic growth and many nice neighborhoods. 4. Depends how old you are and what you are looking for. If you are a retired snowbird, then Sarasota. If you want to be near the water without a lot of money then Port Charlotte, but there's really no night life or cultural events or much shopping. If you are younger, then only Tampa. It has the jobs, it has the nightlife, it has theater, it has two universities, it has the shopping, and it's a city. The others aren't.
