What are the best pizza places in California?

3. In SF, there is a place called Blondie's, its on Powell. AWESOME pizza. Sometimes there is a bit of a line, but it is totally worth it! I like either plain cheese or the hawaiian

8. Mozza Pizzeria. It's run by the woman who started La Brea Bakery and American Iron chef Mario Batali. It's the best pizza I've ever tasted and I used to live in NY!
9. Pizzeria Classico in Folsom!!! It is amazing!
10. Joe Peeps is great! Also La Monica in Brentwood is supposed to be great, but I've never had it. Dagwoods in (Venice & Santa Monica) is really good as well.
11. I'm a California girl and I love Pizza. My very favorite of all is Toppers and Rusty's Pizza. I used to go to Rusty's Pizza a lot as a child, and one day it was gone and replaced by a Toppers. I went in and the menu was exactly the same. I ordered a pizza, and guess what it was exactly the same too! So....I thought WOW they are the same Pizza place. But to my Amazement, I believe Rusty's changed it's name to Toppers... and so that Toppers is really the original Rusty's. I believe that Rusty's popped up wanting to be the original Rusty's since Topper's was once known as Rusty's. Now... I do not know if this is totally confusing you or not. But why not find a Rusty's or Topper's pizza place and find out for yourself how yummy their pizza's are. I have to say I would now chose Toppers as #1, Rusty's as #2, and Round Table Pizza as #3 but a super close challenger for #2 spot. I also love Ameci's pizza, though it's not in my top 3. But, not far behind! So... try those. I'm in Ventura County. A 45 min drive North of Los Angeles where all of these Pizza places are very popular. #1-Toppers #2- Rusty's #3- Round Table #4- Ameci's
